Здравствуйте.
Хочу сделать RPM для mathopd -- лучшего (IMHO) httpd сервера для раздачи
статического контента. Как аргумент: mathopd работает на top.list.ru и
images.rambler.ru.
Есть некоторые идеи и патчики (автор, в основном, заморозил разработку).
Возьмете в Сизиф?

А как же khttpd (HTTP-сервер в ядре)? Доступен в Sisyphus. Идея мне
скорее не нравится, но быстрее, кажется, ничего придумать нельзя.

А Бог с ним! :) На production-машинах его как-то боязно использовать.
Возможно, что действительно быстрее, но не принципиально. Всё равно
узкое место -- обращение к диску, а не копирование в userspace.
Кроме того, mathopd -- highly configurable, так что даже может потянуть
на "основной" httpd, а khttpd в каком-то смысле не configurable вообще,
ибо надо перезапускать ядро.
