А Бог с ним! :) На production-машинах его как-то боязно использовать.
Возможно, что действительно быстрее, но не принципиально. Всё равно
узкое место -- обращение к диску, а не копирование в userspace.
Кроме того, mathopd -- highly configurable, так что даже может потянуть
на "основной" httpd, а khttpd в каком-то смысле не configurable вообще,
ибо надо перезапускать ядро.
