Есть инструкция по "спариванию" PLplot и GTK+ на http://archive.tcltk.co.kr/doc/plplot-html-5.9.4/gui.html и это "спаривание" на канве требует gnomeprint. Однако, после более глубоких ковыряний я понял, что такое "спаривание" в общем устарело и есть более другое, в дистрибутиве PLplot.
