Качаю вот сизиф - из официального зеркала, взятого по
http://www.altlinux.ru/index.php?module=download
http://ftp.nluug.nl/metalab/distributions/altlinux/home.html
так вот, как заметил там много пакетов двух последовательных версий
например kde-bla-bla-bla-3.2.1 и kde-bla-bla-bla-3.2.2
kernel-2.6.4 + kernel-2.6.5, Mesa-5.0.1+Mesa-5.0.2,
mysql-client-4.0.18-alt4 и mysql-client-4.0.18-alt3 и т.д.
в общем, порядочно.
Почему это так ? что с этим делать ?
