Не совсем понял, что значит "зависимости на версию mkinitrd там
нет...". Потому что когда я потащил kernel24-up-2.4.9-alt5.i586.rpm
Mandrake Update мне его не поставил, сказал "Для него нужен более
новый mkinitrd". Когда я выкачал mkinitrd-2.7.1-alt3.noarch.rpm
(кажется) он сказал "Мне нужен более новый mktemp"
mktemp-1.5-ipl6mdk.i586.rpm был закачан, установлен, потом установился
mkinitrd, потом и kernel24-up-2.4.9 согласился установится. Но после
перезагрузки получил "Kernel panic" Хорошо, что ядро 2.2.- не
удалилось.
Кстати, вопрос. Хотя наверно больше для mandrake-russian. Как
устанавливая apt-ом или rpm-ом ядро из Сизифа, сохранить предыдущее
just in case? А то ведь случаи разные бывают, а хочется иметь
возможность загрузки со "страховочного" ядра. Пару дней назад я
установил 2.4.10 которое заработало нормально. Но соответственно 2.4.9
было удалено автоматом. А как мне его сохранять?
