Hello sisyphus,
После обновления до Сизифа примерно двухнедельной давности сломалась
загрузка модулей ядра. Ядро старое, 2.4.20-альт самосборное, но
работало почти хорошо.
Теперь перестали грузиться некоторые модули, например irda и
частично iptables*. Сипмтомы -- unresolved symbols. Это после
апгрейда modutils? Раньше-то все работало.
Недолго думая, поставил 2.4.22-smp-alt6. Все вроде работает, но:
- иногда на самых безобидных операциях (установка rpm, банальный ls
etc.) на один проц падает 100% load, согласно xosview system load
растет до значений 5-6-7 (дальше не ждал), перестают запускаться
приложения и машина быстро умирает. Reset :(. Второй проц при этом
не занят.
- машина не выключается после команды shutdown. Доходит до конца,
тормозит винчестеры, но питание не отключает. Хотя на старом ядре
при прочих равных условиях все работало.
Машина: Abit BP6, Dual Celeron.
Посему встал вопрос: как собрать свое ядро в новой ядреной системе?
Как там все эти feat/source/module собрать в одно дерево исходников?
Укажите, может где руководство есть?
