Добрый день.
Сегодня проапгрейдил систему до xorg-server-2:1.6.2-alt1.rc2
и получил в логе Xorg.0.log
X.Org X Server 1.6.1.902 (1.6.2 RC 2)
Release Date: 2009-6-29
X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0
Build Operating System: ALT Linux 5.0.0 Master Prototype (none) i686
Current Operating System: Linux john.w-s.ru 2.6.30-std-def-alt1 #1 SMP Thu Jun 25 07:23:18 UTC 2009 i686
Build Date: 30 June 2009 06:25:16AM
...
(==) intel(0): Using UXA for acceleration
...
(==) intel(0): Intel XvMC decoder disabled
(II) intel(0): Set up textured video
(II) intel(0): Set up overlay video
(II) intel(0): direct rendering: Failed
И как следствие, кеды еле ползают.
Переключаю в xorg.conf
Option "AccelMethod" "UXA"
на
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
в логе Xorg.0.log
...
(**) intel(0): Using EXA for acceleration
...
(==) intel(0): Intel XvMC decoder disabled
(II) intel(0): Set up textured video
(II) intel(0): Set up overlay video
(II) intel(0): direct rendering: XF86DRI Enabled
Уже получше. Но получается деградация иксов ? :(

xorg-server-2:1.6.2-alt1.rc2 об UXA ничего не знает. эти огрызки логов
ни о чем не горят. видео какое?
