если ООо запускается под KDE и переменная окружения KDE_FULL_SESSION не
пустая, а KDE_SESSION_VERSION пусто (хотя как такое может быть?),
случается страшное. хотя установка openoffice.org-kde в этом случае не
поможет...
в /etc/sysconfig/openoffice.org придется раскомментировать
export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen
или
$ export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gen
