tomboy-panel по прежнему не уживается с панелью Гнома.

Как вы этого добились?
глупый вопрос: а libgnome-sharp установлен? и какой версии?
у меня так:
# rpm -q libgnome-sharp
libgnome-sharp-2.16.0-alt6

также в /usr/lib/mono/gac/gnome-sharp/2.16.0.0__35e10195dab3c99f/gnome-sharp.dll.config
определено что такое panel-applet-2 -> libpanel-applet-2.so.0

# rpm -qf /usr/lib/libpanel-applet-2.so.0
libgnome-panel-2.20.2-alt2

на всякий случай цепляю свой лог

"Вы не поверите..." Никак не добивался... Просто после очередного
тотального обновления модуль отвалился и в панель возвращаться не
желает.

С новым гномом у меня tomboy работает.

Ну скажем - возможно :)
Из основного - почти всё работает. Остальные обновления будут
подъезжать по мере готовности.
Пора тестировать - вешать баги.

Из текущих багов:
- непонятно кто стартует esd, так что он блокирует вывод звука через alsa.
- у кого-то проблемы с аплетом часов (у меня нормально)
- может не баг, а фича - на ноуте gnome-power-manager показывает две
батареи, судя по малой мощности второй батареи - это наверно батарейка
биос.

Ну в общем тестировать уже можно.

ноуте дополнительная маломощная батарея :)

Это ёмкость конденсатора, в качестве которого выступает пользователь
ноутбука. :)

У меня хоть две батареи показывается, а у syatskevich@ вообще три :)
А он даже "ёмкость конденсаторов" посмотреть не может :)

По поводу часов, возможно ошибаюсь но возможно стоит посмотреть в
сторону PolicyKit? Так как polkit-gnome-authorization у меня валиться с
ошибкой. Не отсюда ли и падения и clock-a?
