Меня сегодня угораздило сделать dist-upgrage, и в результате я потерял
все сетевые интерфейсы. Оказалось, что обновившийся udev вдруг приобрел
зависимость на etcnet, который в свою очередь вынес мне net-scripts
вместе с возможностью соединяться с чем бы то ни было по сети.
1) Я понятия не имею как настраивать этот etcnet и вразумительного howto
за 5 минут не обнаружил.
2) У меня все давно настроено на net-scripts и работает как часы.
3) У меня нет лишнего времени изучать ненужную мне систему. (Ибо etcnet
ничего нового и полезного мне не дает.)
4) Пока и если этот etcnet не войдет в состав большинства дистрибутивов,
полученные в ходе его изучения навыки будут для меня бесполезны.
Поэтому, произошедший сегодня отказ моей системы следует считать
результатом диверсии. Надеюсь, что это было нечаянно.
