Для некоторых прошлых релизов j2se1.4-sun эти библиотеки были нужны,
т.к. поддерживали некие нужные среде возможности, доступные в i686
(смутно вспоминаются слова floating stack). С тех пор вроде бы JRE
научили жить и без этого. Но все равно приятно иметь фундаментальные
библиотеки, собранные под более соответствующую современным процессорам
архитектуру.
