Да нет, сильфида не имеет ничего общего с KDE, это нельзя не заметить
хотя бы по внешнему виду =)
А в KDE используется свой "менеджер" проверки орфографии KSpell
позволяющий настроить и системы проверки, их словари и кодировку,
посмотрите ещё раз внимательно.
