Сделал всё, как написано в документации, даже ссылку с делал
/lib/modules/2.4.20-alt7-up/conexant -> misc, чтобы hsfconfig
заработала. Вроде все как надо она делает, только в логах имею

"hsfconfig --nvram"

Наверное, именно из-за этого не работает. hsfconfig --nvram не
помогает, хотя она его и переделывает.
Что делать? Понятно, что покупать нормальный модем, думаю через
пару дней будет. Но, всё-таки спортивный интерес...
Заранее спасибо за помощь.

у меня собирается =) Скорее всего, проблема из-за сочетания gcc2.96 и
qt-devel. Покажите configure.log

пишу на память
ругань в самом конце на то что не может найти djview и еще какой то файл
это несложно воспроизвести
