У меня в 1997 году была ситуация, когда я был вынужден с привычной
OS/2 съехать на винды (NT4WS, если чо ;), потому что бимеры перестали
делать клиент AS/400 Workbench под полуось, нужна была именно
четвертая версия, а она вышла только под винды. Тройка последняя
глючила стремительным домкратом.
Такие вот пирожки с котятами. Причем bleeding edge у полуоси к этому
моменту был Мерлин, к нему и апдейты регулярно вываливались и вообще
было всё пучком, и штатный клиент под тройку был в комплекте поставки.
Но вот не срослось, топ-менеджеров, принимающих решения об остановке
некоторых проектов, периодически нужно показательно сжигать на
Стефановской площади

с трансляцией по телевизору. Чтобы следующим неповадно было.
