По принципу "не клади все яйца в одну корзину" я держу на моём ПК, в дополнение к Windows, пару дистрибутивов Linux. Но из-под одного из этих дистрибутивов выхода в Интернет не было "отродясь", из-под другого - некоторое время был, но, по-моему, в прошлом году пропал. (Логично предположить, что тем дистрибутивом, из под которого выход хоть когда-то был, я пользовался чаще, чем тем, выхода из-под которого не было никогда). Сейчас у меня есть возможность переустановить оба этих дистрибутива (свежие версии того и другого скачаны мною как *.iso и записаны на диски). В какой последовательности это делать если будет и если не будет включать переустановку Windows? (Переустанавливать Windows вроде бы надо, из-за быстродействия, но "жаба душит" из-за страха потерять некоторые письма). Нужно ли для переустановки Linux знание английского языка? Затрутся ли файлы (сохранённые сейчас на "рабочих столах")? (Если разделы на жёстком диске переразбивать - затрутся точно, ну а если не переразбивать?).
