У меня Silicon Power 16Gb class 6, правда не на eeepc, а на асер аспире ван.
Проблем никаких.
Используется очень активно, даже тестовые базы постгреса на лежат.
Разбита на два куска:
4 Gb ext2 - для баз, программ и прочего требующего posix.
11 Gb vfat - для музыки, книг, фильмов и прочих документов.
Монтируется - HAL+exo.
Со скорость проблем нет, но специально не замерял, и не хочу мерить, а
то субъективный осадок может появится.
