Я ожидал полной задницы и долгого сношения с ядром, UDEV и другими
прелестями вышло, но всё оказалось офигенно.
Slackware Linux 13 x86 vanilla, Linux 2.6.29. Скачиваем udev-extras от
Debian, распаковываем и вкатываем содержимое data.tar.gz на корневую ФС.
В меню KDE делаем пункт "Включить модем" с командой:
"/lib/udev/modem-modeswitch --vendor 0x12d1 --product 0x1446 --type
option-zerocd". Перезагружаемся, чтобы всё подцепилось наверняка.
- Втыкаем модем.
- Жмакаем "Включить модем"
- Ждём пару секунд, пока модем переключится и будут созданы необходимиые
устройства.
- Запускаем KPPP и подключаемся.
- Хомяки довольны.
"Включить модем" жмакаем каждый раз, как вставляем модем. Ни один хомяк
в офисе не пожаловался.
