Тема давно избитая, но я что-то в тупик пришёл.
На антресольном сервере стоит бубунта.
Так уж получилось, но сегодня подвели все:
1. Подвели энергетики и "моргнули" светом
2. Подвёл бесперебойник (ещё не разбирался) и сервер остался без питания
некоторое время.
3. Подвела материнка и время слетело до 2000 года.
Сразу с последнего:
В прошлые выходные снимал тело с антресоли для чистки и обнаружил
беременные конденсаторы на материнке (надо думать - 6VIA85P 94-ого года
рождения). Ремонт отложил до следующих выходных (то бишь на эти
выходные). Судя по ситуации, ещё и батарейку надо будет поменять. Но не
это главное.
После перегрузки обнаружил, что время слетело и так и не восстановилось,
хотя демон ntpd был запущен и натравлен на ntp.san.ru.
Вопрос? А демон при старте производит первоначальную синхронизацию?

P.S. Понятно, что с железом надо поработать, но и это момент хотелось бы
проработать.
