Сразу к делу, есть такой термин "slider" (перетаскиваемый виджет,
регулятор громкости, например) встречаются следующие его переводы:
бегунок, ползунок, слайдер, движок. В общем, предлагаю это дело
унифицировать и занести в глоссарий. Моё предложение - ползунок.
Следующая группа медийных терминов:
encoder - переводится как кодек, упаковщик, кодер, кодировщик
decoder - декодер, декодирование
codec - кодек, декодер
В общем для первого предлагаю кодер (либо кодировщик), для второго
декодер (либо, если для первого кодировщик, то для второго логично
было бы использовать раскодировщик), ну а третий - кодек и кодек.
