Да. Но не о языках+странах, а о региональных разновидностях одного языка (i.e.
американский английский, блитанский английский).
South Africa, в принципе допускает оба варианта перевода (как ЮАР, так и
просто Южная Африка). Я бы склонился к последнему варианту, если обсуждается
конкретно эта проблема...

212 languageCodeMap.insert( "se-SE", i18n("Sami (Northern, Sweden)") );
Здесь получаются «Саамский (Северная Финляндия)» и т.д., насколько я понял?
