Greetings!

Since accumulated a lot of important changes I am planning a new stable
release. I decided to change the release versioning rules. I will bump the
major and minor version number for each stable release. The patch version
will change for beta and pre-releases.

To summarize, the next stable release will be 2.1.0 while 2.0.9x is
a pre-releases.

Feedback and bug reports, as always, are welcomed.
