Смотря сколько ты под каждую вирт. машину выделиш.

ИМХО VMware worstation не понимает smp.
Надо GSX server покупать, а он денег немерянно стоит.

Скорее всего. Под PIV VMware точно не заточено.
А не оптимизированный софт на PIV это тормоооооза.
