Вы не правы. Если VGA кабель подключен до включения компьютера, то
xrandr дает возможность выбрать 1280x1024, а если после, то только
1024x768. Это "глюки" видеобиоса?

Здравствуйте!
Спасибо за обращение в Службу Технической Поддержки ASUS.
Это не глюк видеобиоса, видео здесь интегрированное в чипсет. Это
настройка самой ОС, которая при загрузке производит тест подключенного
оборудования и конфигурирует себя на поддержку этого оборудования и
поддерживаемого им разрешения.
