Попробовал пиратский FR5.0 - завелся. Сканер видит, но не сканирует.
За то распознает на ура. Попробовал - потом снёс :-)
В принципе в 5-м уже есть всё, что более-менее нужно для распознавания.
И языков куча.
Интересно, продадут ABBYY 5-ю версию или заставят 8-ю покупать?

Пробую.
Штриховые tiff-ы не понимает :-(

А там еще пакетно можно.
Но!
Это фича или баг xsane, что он не может сканировать графику в шриховом
режиме?
Каким форматом для сохранения файлов лучше пользоваться? Что-то jpeg-и
получаются по 8 мб. и дооолго пишутся на диск.
