Не знаю как в Mandrake, здесь, при таких установках перемычек,
должно работать после установки само. Но, возможно потребуется
посмотреть настройки ком портов в биосе, и исключить конфликты с
мышью, если она комовская. Если не работает попробуйте kudzu.
