Хм... Значит так. Если кардридер на много форматов, то при его
втыкании должно определиться не одно устройство, а несколько.
Посмотри, что пишется в 12 консоли при подключении ридера. По идее там
должно проскочить упоминание всех типов карточек, которые понимает
ридер.
Если я правильно ошибаюсь, по умолчанию детектится только первый слот,
а он не всегда тот, который нужен. Как исправить ситуацию? Ну возможно
прописать в /etc/modules.conf
options scsi_mod max_scsi_luns=0xFFFFFFFF
Для ускорения процесса можно заменить 0xFFFFFFFF на что-нить вида 0x5.
Потом после подключения ридера загляни в /proc/scsi/scsi
Там должно быть упоминание всех типов слотов.
