Можно поставить на IDE, пересобрать ядро 2.4 (если оно в
принципе устраивает) из сизифа и перенести систему на sata,
сделав initrd с загрузкой sata_nv - в мастере этого
драйвера в ядре еще нет.
У меня сейчас как временное решение мастер с
2.4.32-std-up-alt1 живет на сервере (файлопомойка + vmware
gsx server) на nforce4 - но похоже
на отвалившийся sata винт софтовое зеркало в случае ядра 2.6 мягче реагирует, буду
переползать.. Возможно на GentOS
