Вроде тема для этой рассылки, а не для community, но могу перебраться
и туда, если попросят.
Есть проблема со SCSI адаптером Adaptec 2940AU: сначала мне не удалось
установить АЛМ2.4 при воткнутой плате --- жёсткий вис после
обнаружения адаптера. Пробовал на двух компьютерах (ASUS A7N8X-VM и
A7N8X-Delux), чипсеты у них очень близкие (nForce2), хотя и
неодинаковые, на второй есть ещё SATA от Silicon Image (SiI-3112A),
1394 и т.п. Далее, после установки АЛМ2.4, втыкаю адаптер, kudzu
находит адаптер, но не прописывает его в /etc/modules. Ладно
прописываю scsi_hostadapter1 (первый --- ide-scsi для DVD-RW), alias
для него aic7xxx. Запускаю руками modprobe aic7xxx, всё поднимается,
включая подключённый к адаптеру стриммер. Но после перезагрузки
получаю опять жёсткий вис при загрузке модуля для scsi_hostadapter1.
ОС --- АЛМ2.4 из коробки без обновлений, ядро 2.4.26-std-up-alt6.
В общем-то мне не трудно подгружать модуль руками, тем более, что не
так часто надо перегружаться, но хотелось бы сделать хорошо и надолго.
Может ли кто-нибудь подсказать разумное решение?
