Альтернативные прошивки есть ...
Вроде как можно впихнуть внутрь ноутбучный диск и шарить его по SMB ...
Не проверял
pptp использую.
Как к провайдеру, так и к себе в офис (мы в одной городской сети)...
Работает без нареканий, в отличие от D-Link, который я брать не рекомендую.
Wi-Fi достаточно устойчив в моей ЖБ коробке ...
А вот шейпера не использую ...
