Есть маленьких серверочек "для одной комнаты", однако на нем весьма
ценные вещи запущены и хранятся.
Сегодня внезапно(тм) обнаружил, что mdRAID на нем деградировал. smartd
ругается на сбойные сектора на одном из дисков (кстати, это сектора на
критические области диска пришлись, или софт-рейд умеет сам отваливать
диски со SMART-ошибками?).
Диски были
Model Family: Western Digital RE3 Serial ATA
Device Model: WDC WD3202ABYS-02B7A0
Прослужили 2.5 года примерно.
Посему встал вопрос: чем можно заменить? С размером в 500-1000Гб, хотя в
принципе и 300 подойдет. Имеет ли смысл смотреть в сторону SAS в плане
надежности?
Скорость вобщем-то не очень важна. Однако, одна из запущенных виртуалок
желательна с максимально возможной сокростью на чтение. Можно ли собрать
какой-нить массив из SATA/SAS+SSD, чтоб отдавалось "как с SSD", но при
этом было дублирование для надежности.
