Н-да, грустно, что, похоже, на поддержку Wacom в AltLinux все забили.
Опишу своё решение на случай, если найдётся ещё кто-нибудь с этой же
проблемой. Как и писали на http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Wacom_Tablet,
нужно более свежее ядро. В случае с Bamboo Fun нужно ещё и руками
добавить в файл drivers/input/tablet/wacom_wac.c в исходниках ядра
идентификатор устройства (который можно узнать из вывода lsusb? Кто
лучше знает, поправьте).
Так как у жены именно Bamboo Fun, пришлось собрать новое ядро на базе
альтовского 2.6.24-std-def.
После этого в /etc/udev/rules.d был добавлен файл 10-local.rules
следующего содержания:
KERNEL=="event*", SYSFS{idVendor}=="056a", NAME="input/%k",
SYMLINK="input/wacom"
и всё заработало.
Возможно, это кривое решение, но лучшего я не нашёл.
Так как libwacom в Сизифе, похоже, заброшен, выкладываю пакеты с ядром и
libwacom, вдруг пригодятся кому.
