Hi, community!
Планирую приобрести 200Gb (ST3200826A) HDD для старой материнки на
чипсете - VIA vt82c686b. С 40Gb работает без проблем.
Недавно брал у друга такой же винт - BIOS показывает только 137Gb.
Загружаю linux - видит все 200Gb. cfdisk - тоже говорит 200Gb.
Монтируется без проблем.
Как понимаю linux в етом случае игнорирует bios?
Возможны какие-то проблемы в процесе из-за етого?
