Promise FastTrak TX2000(плата PCI) имеет свой BIOS, где и выставил
создание ""stripe" на 2-х дисках. В винде поставил штатные драйвера и
увидел1 диск удвоенного размера. Фигурирующий в письме "Линукс" это SUSE
10.0, который сразу определил FastTrak TX2000 и загрузил модуль
pdc202xx_new. Он и видит 2 диска hde and hdg(в своей утилите для
разметки дисков) и предупреждает, что диски часть raid. Там же можно
создавать raid (что то появлялось типа md0), но я не ориентируюсь в
этом, поэтому ничего не создавал. Вот как раз и при начальных моих
попытках было сказано, что таблицы разделов на hdg нет.
