Если просто так указывать в /etc/sysconfig/framebuffer MODULE=atyfb,
равно как и руками пытаться его прогрузить, то не грузится. Если (как
советует гоголь) писать в /etc/lilo.conf
append="video=atyfb:mode:800x600", то модуль начинает грузиться как
вручную, так и сервисным скриптом (из /etc/sysconfig/framebuffer), при
этом картинка на экране съезжает вправо (вероятно, из-за изменения
параметров развёртки), но остаются всё те же 640х480@60 Гц, хотя в том
же /etc/sysconfig/framebuffer указано MODE=800x600-100. А ещё при этом
начинают глючить иксы (появляются всякие подёргивания и искажения
изображения).
