Купил WiFi-PCMCIA карту для ноута на коем стоит Citron.
"Внешние" данные: Compex, WL54G
При вставлении ничего хорошо не происходит (ну кроме распознавания
самого факта вставления чего-то там в слот).
Адекватно ("почуствовали" оответствующие программы) распознала лишь
WHoppix (LiveCD) сообщив, что загружен драйвер prism54.
Поискав на altlinux.ru скачал firmware-prism4-1.0.4.3-alt2.src.rpm,
сделал rpm --rebuild, получил <...>.noarch.rpm (удивился на noarch),
поставил, перезапустил hotplug, вставил карту - те же яйца, вид сбоку.
Заняля вскрытием. Выяснил, что пакет засунул свои файлы в /lib/firmware,
тогда как в /etc/hotplug/firmware.agent указано оглавление
/usr/lib/hotplug/firmware. Создал требуемое, скопировал туда все файлы
из /lib/firmware, перезапустил hotplug, вставил карту - никаких изменений.
Таки как все это понимать? Как в сабже или драйвера к /dev/hands
надо переустанавливать?
Кстати, обнаружил некий пакет hostap-utils в коем настройки для
Prism2/2.5/3. Он никак не применим?
