Брал из сизифа. Ядро и все патчи для версии 2.6.11.
Собирал с помощью spec'ов для пакетов kernel-image-XXXXX-XXX, скачанных с www.sisyphus.ru. Конфиг, соответственно, свой подсовывал.

Я думаю, может это какое-то роковое несовпадение отдельных настроек в конфиге ядра ?
На самом деле, меня сейчас не столько интересует сборка SMP ядра, сколько настройка UP ядра для работы с моим железом (а именно ACPI/APIC)...
