С переездом на 2.6.11 (после 2.6.10) наблюдаю _очень неприятный глюк_ с
USB hotplug.
При холодном включении компа при загрузке hotplug usb.rc машина просто
уходит в перезагрузку (с вероятностью примерно 70%). Сразу после этого
("не холодное" включение) машина грузится (с вероятностью примерно 90%).
На alt2 если загружилась на "не холодную", то без проблем. На alt4
иногда ядро переклинивает, оно не грузит часть модулей, в частности
supermount. После повторной перезагрузки полет нормальный.
Материнская плата на via694, DUAL PIII. Набортный USB1.0, от его
состояния (включен/выключен в BIOSе) ничего не зависит. Проверил на
двух PCI USB2 контроллерах (NEC и VIA) -- разницы никакой. От
подключенности устройств к USB тоже не зависит. На 2.6.10 все работает.
Из-за этих неожиданых перезагрузок уже потерял пару файлов из /etc на xfs.
