Не надо, не запускайте. Руками настроете быстрее и надежнее.

^^^^^^ вот это неправльно, не нужен fbdev
для работы в Иксах. А для нВидиа еще и вредно иногда.

Не надо, не пробуйте так. Это только если совсем ничего не поможет.
Огласите содержимое /etc/X11/XF86Config, /var/log/XFree.0.log и вывод
комманды rpm -qa | grep nvidia
