Таблица разделов может иметь до 4 непустых записей, одна (или несколько)
из которых может описывать расширенный раздел, который имеет точно такую
же таблицу разделов с 4 записями, одна из которых...
Таким образом кол-во разделов ограничено только размером физического
диска и полетом фантазии.
По-моему всегда так было, хотя могу и ошибаться...
