В предыдущем, успешном случае, это был wlan0, работало...

Пользовался инструкцией по наладке от Ubuntu и наверное, сделал ошибку, сказав:
# echo "ndiswrapper" | tee -a /etc/modules
В остальном, не знаю как, инструкция сработала и ath_pci модуль
грузится перестал.

Думал, что Branch - это стабильная ветка, и всё "обкатывается" в Sisyphus...
