Доброго дня.
Мы тут с коллегами собрали прибор, сейчас пакуем его в формат mini-ITX.
В режиме тестирования использовался 3.5" винчестер и 80-жильный
шлейф. hdparm -tT был на уровне 70 для кэша и 27 для винчестера.
Корпус выбрали самый маленький какой нашли, память можно ставить
обычную, винчестер 2.5". В комплекте с корпусом идет шлейф, 40 жил,
с одним концом для 2.5" винчестера. Есть на этом шлейфе и обычный
IDE для 3.5". Так вот подключенный к нему тот же самый винчестер при
hdparm -tT показывает около 35 Мб/с для кэша и 0.1 для диска!
У нас и так слабым местом является IDE, а при такой скорости будущее
прибора под сомнением.
OS: ALTLinux Master 2.2, ядро 2.4.20-up
Ну, традиционно, -- что делать, и как реализуется ATA100 на 2-х
дюймовых винчестерах? Т.е. все-таки есть 80-жильные шлейфы для них?
