Добрый день!
Прошу поделиться опытом - кому-нибудь удавалось добиться на
NFORCE4 не вызывающего проблем в работе системы
отрабатывания софтового зеркала при отказе диска? С какими
ядрами? Я сейчас пробовал эмулировать отказ sata диска в зеркале
выдергиванием шнурка - получил длительную задумчивость
системы (команды с консоли не вводились, на alt-sysrq-...
реагировала) после сообщения ядра (на консоль, в логи)
о hot remove устройства.
В основном эксперименты ставились c sata дисками, но
попробовал и со стареньким IDE подцепленным в паре с sata - похожая ситуация.

ядро 2.4.32-std-up-alt1
На стареньких машинках с мастером и pata винтами при
выдергивании шнурка все проходит очень мягко - в лог идет сообщение об ошибке, диск
помечается в зеркале как отказавший - и никаких проблем.
Это особенность биоса, чипсета, дисковой подсистемы ядра в текущих ядрах 2.4?
Есть идеи в какую сторону смотреть?
