Помнится, эти "WL-167G" бывали на разных чипах -- припоминается
вариант на rt2x00, что ли, который потребовал подбора firmware,
но в итоге работал довольно хорошо.

В dmesg что-то по теме есть? firmware-linux установлен?
Если да -- насколько свежий? (можно взять из сизифа)
