Для 32-битной системы - только некоторыми потерями производительности
из-за отключения поддержки больших (2MB) страниц (в обычной системе
такие страницы реально используются только для кода самого ядра).
Полностью устранить проблему и вернуть поддержку PSE можно только
путём обновления BIOS до версии, содержащей исправленный микрокод для
процессора (если такая версия для этой модели существует). Утилиты из
пакета microcode_ctl в данном случае не помогут, поскольку правильный
микрокод должен быть загружен ещё до запуска ядра.
Вроде бы на http://biosbits.org/ можно найти модифицированную версию
загрузчика GRUB2, поддерживающую обновление микрокода процессора до
загрузки ядра Linux - такой вариант может помочь в случае, если нет
возможности решить проблему путём обновления BIOS, но в опакеченной в
ALT версии GRUB2 таких возможностей нет.
