Посмотрите ещё hdparm -I /dev/sdb; но, к сожалению, многие диски с
Advanced Format (или какое ещё маркетинговое название придумают для
использования 4KB секторов внутри при 512 снаружи) в ответ на эти
запросы возвращают откровенно ложную информацию.
Наличие Advanced Format явно видно на тестах случайной записи при
размере блока 512 байт - вот как раз тест с участием ST2000DL003:

(а вот во втором тесте, где блок увеличен до 4 КБ, уже все диски ведут
себя примерно одинаково).
