у меня точно такая же материнка и точно такие же проблемы со старыми ядрами.
проблеме уже сильно больше года. в общем:

ну и в архивах полуторагодичной давности про это есть...
думаю, вам стоит поставить ядро 2.6.2x из сизифа. у меня 2.6.24, с ним все
нормально
также, возможно, замена IDE привода на sata тоже решит проблему...
