На нормальных контроллерах SATA все порты работают независимо;
исключением может быть случай, когда контроллер работает в режиме
совместимости с IDE - в этом случае два порта SATA могут видеться как
один канал IDE с двумя устройствами (master и slave), и обмен с этими
устройствами будет возможен только по очереди. В dmesg в подобной
ситуации будут видны два устройства на одном порту - ataN.0 и ataN.1;
обычно в случае SATA присутствует только ataN.0.
