Советую заинтересованным поглядеть на 915resolution и проверить баг с ней. И
вообще сделать ее Obsoletes: 855resolution. Поскольку подход с init.d скриптом и
крутилками в /etc/sysconfig кажется мне более осмысленным.

на моей i965 915resolution ничего не портит при запуске (если его
специально об этом не попросить).
