Ну если берёте ethernet-модем, то тут без разницы, linux или что
там ещё.
У меня ZyXEL OMNI ADSL LAN EE (бывший Prestige 645R) - вроде
работает. Некоторые говорят, что хорошо греется, но я слышал, что
это относится ко всем модемам. :)
Карта у меня набортная Marvell SysKonnect (sk98lin).
