На машине установлен Compact 3.0.4,
Процессор x86_64 (AMD).
Системное время очень ускоренно идёт, чуть ли не в два раза
быстрее. Есть ли какие-то сведения или советы?

Уточняю: нужно поставить ядро std26 >= 2.6.12-alt10 (предыдущие сборки не
содержат соответствующего патча). При обнаружении чипсета ATI код для
обхода этой проблемы должен активизироваться автоматически; в других
случаях может понадобиться указание параметра ядра disable_8254_timer.
Параметр enable_8254_timer отключает это изменение даже при наличии
чипсета ATI.
Есть ещё параметры enable_timer_pin_1 и disable_timer_pin_1, управляющие
другим вариантом решения проблемы с таймером. Какой из вариантов будет
работать - зависит от железа.
